Could possibly be that places like Brakes deliver to schools, residential homes & suchlike?

i’ve delivered there many times, and never needed it.
but i suppose all the illegal taliban immigrants doing security don’t need a crb check either.
Yeah that sounds about right mate! They even want a letter stating gaps in employment just incase i was training in afgan at the time!

Exactly, put down that you were working for Bloggs International for 3 years for example, the reason you left was they went bust. The 2 years before that you were working for Swift and they got bought out by TDG and made you redundant.
Just have a look for some firms that have gone wallop and you’re away. If you want to add a further bit of murk, find a Dutch/Belgian/Irish/whatever outfit that’s gone to the wall and put their name down. Job done. 
All good ideas mate just i keep coming up against the whole 2 year barrier, really starting to wind me up after forking out for my licenses!
Maybe if you know someone who has some vans or lorries, get them to write you a letter. A friend or relative who can tell a good story is also a good one. What are they going to do, accuse them of lying? 
stop worrying over nowt, the food seved there will be crap, the prices they charge will be criminal so they just want to ensure someone with the appropriate record delivers it
I’m not worried about that, just worried the fact that I cant get a job after spending far too much on the training. I think any employer may have something to say over a 9 page long crb check!

One of the greatest attributes a driver has is that he is an expert in Bollix!!! Just go and sit in an Rdc for a short while and you will see what I mean… Lol

Really, it was introduced to find puffs? Either your definition of puff and mine differ, or there’s some lucky people out there as there is a lot of gays working in nursing homes and they need a CRB check

The likes of 3663 deliver to prisons and secure establishments etc but normally they are escorted by a member of staff while onsite. But maybe they may require CRB checks.
Taxi drivers carrying prisoners to hospital appointments have to be vetted, & I know one of the jobs I do involves dedicated prison deliveries, and the drivers on the books DO require regular checks, but they are also key holders at certain places. Which is why they`re checked. However the agency drivers doing the same deliveries do not require them as they are escorted by a member of staff while onsite

This is all well and good but on the back of my license it states when i gained my entitlement!
