Where is the “crashed” thread? Where everyone owns up to the crashes they’ve just had?
I’ve done a search but it just gave an SQL error.
Wrong input.
You should do a search for the phrase:
“It wasn`t my fault, but”

Seriously, no one else then? [emoji28]
I had one a few weeks ago. I was joining the M6 at junction 23 heading southbound. There was roadworks so the motorway was down to only one running lane with a coned slip to join. When I was trying to join another wagon was in the running lane so I had to stop on the slip. The car behind the lorry stopped to let me join the motorway but before I could move another lorry appeared in between us and hit the back of my trailer. My trailer and cab were both written off, as was their trailer (and my back, I ended up off for a month with whiplash in my lower back).
Our day driver wasn’t happy when he seen his new 70 plate truck coming back to the yard on the back of a wrecker

Oh gawd not a Clarkes driver I had a mishap in Bristol and a Clarkes driver started throwing his weight around… was told to shut up and mind his own business… lol
Was unloading blue drums of water based anti freeze, they were unstable on the pallet, the guy unloading, didn’t lower the pallet quick enough and they fell off causing quite a mess
Thanks for sharing [emoji4] puts my scuff in perspective. Although scuffing a parked car, I have no excuses.
I’ve never had a crash or accident in my life because I’m the best driver in the world.

Clarke’s still expect you to pull your curtains and secure your load whilst on break ?

Not been like that as long as I’ve been there. I usually run from Manchester to Birmingham, tip then have a break lasting anything upto 2 hours before loading, strapping and running back up. There’s no rushing around and they really clamp down on anyone who doesn’t take proper breaks or strap their loads

Depends on the type of work you’re doing, if it’s all residential area work, like being a bin wagon driver, it happens sometimes, especially where there’s a lot of illegal parking. Don’t beat yourself up if it was just a minor paint job.
