I posted the following response to this relaxation of hours yesterday on a Facebook HGV driver group. Obviously the autocensor doesnā€™t work on FB but you get the drift;

ā€œYou can [zb] right off! If me going a few minutes over because itā€™s deemed to be dangerous and life threatening can cost me hundreds of pounds right now, then Iā€™m [zb] ed if all of a sudden it can be deemed safe because Tarquin and Gemima may not get their Lentil soup!ā€

If Iā€™m on the same group as you then I missed it but if Iā€™d have seen it then itā€™d be another like from me.

Well I was with coop last year and I did hate it.
Hate Tesco as well tbh.

But I am at college at the moment so finding employers that have regular weekend work limits my options. :grimacing:

They seemed to have dialled up some if not all of the motors out of Tesco Lichfield to 56mph as of late, was following one up the M5 today and he was tooling it. The bog roll must get through!
