does anyone know anything ,ta

One of two other companies in the area I’d work for! Very much a Marmite Co though, you have to be a specific type of driver to enjoy or last there.

Mate of mine left our place to work there and lasted 3 weeks! That’s more a reflection on him than the Co though, he was used to sitting around being mollycoddled and CP DO NOT do that. If you’re old school, capable of working without guidance and with absolute minimal contact with the office then you’re halfway there.

Tackle all spot on, fuel cards, high spec motors etc. you will run 100% legal but will run to your max driving hours with very high mileages week in week out. I think the PAYE guys get quite a lowish hourly rate plus a percentage of the load price. My mate was s/e and got a fixed hourly rate. I think (not 100% sure) he said that for 5 and a half days he toplined £900 (inc expenses).

No disrespect intended here but if you’re what I class as a new breed of driver then you’ll hate it, if however you are a lorry driver ( btw, I mean in attitude as age has nothing to do with it) then it may suit you perfectly.
