I done a CPC Course the other day. Hours, WTD & Tacho Operation
TBH I don’t think I learned anything. Was a waste of time for me. However, there were some right muppets on the course that sat there scratching their heads in utter disbelief at the realization of the most basic things such as manual entry on a digital taho. I mean come on, who doesn’t know you’re supposed to do a manual entry if you’ve been ■■■■■■■ around the depot before you jump in the lorry? Maybe the CPC isn’t such a bad idea if this is what half the drivers are like…
Done my first last Saturday all I can say was its mind numbing I’m all for learning I want to be good at what I do but I learnt sweet fa half the ■■■■ had nothing to do with driving I was lectured for half hour about nutrition and what I shouldn’t eat what time off the day to eat for optimum alertness blah blah blah followed by and all day breakfast tesco sandwich packet off crisps and a doughnut for our included lunch I thought he was having me on. Can’t wait for the next 28 hours of absolute bs I shall be taking a pillow next time.
