I done my first 7 hours of my CPC today,only another 28 hrs left.Im looking forward to obtaining my card,because when i get it things will vastly improve.The police will treat me with more respect,because i am a professional driver,VOSA will do the same.My boss will pay me more money because i am a now the holder of a CPC card.And gatehouse staff and warehouse operatives will also treat me with more respect. 
CPC or DCPC?

i had a day at it yesterday…went in with an open mind and tbh did`nt think it was too bad.sure alot of it is pretty basic stuff,but the teacher was a driver and has designed his course to actually benefit us as drivers,with regards to covering your back.
i certainly gained a few nuggets of info that could ultimately save me cash,i also gained an interesting insight into the way vosa operate.
it was clear to me that some drivers do need extra training…the message is loud and clear boys…get it right or cough up

In what areas?
well…for instance,i was the only one of the group who new how to perform manual entries…if you get a tug and your records arent correct youll pay.
simple highway code…shocking amount of drivers just don`t know it…

Start mine tomorrow,we do ours in house so it costs nowt.
Having said that,when it comes into force I’ll be 72,so I’ll only be driving if I keep passing the medicals…
Finally started mine yesterday. I could not be bothered but it was quite a laugh in the end and the trainer is still driving, so he did know some relevant stuff. It is still a con though, but what choice is there.

Im now going to be of work for 6 weeks thanks to your comments.
