Why are you selling it? You will need that for future reference.

Harry, every time I read your comments, I have no idea whether you are serious or just joking.
In case you are serious about this one - I can always google whatever I’m looking for.
That study pack is a condensed version of much broader laws and regulations available on the internet.
Cheers!
Complete waste of time doing the course unless you have work/a position already lined up. Pretty easy exam proving that you have the ability to operate a calculator.
I offered my services on here free as an external transport manager in order to gain experience (for CV purposes) and did not receive a single reply.

A lot of people say the same about the HGV licence itself.

I agree that the exam is not too hard if you take the time to study, however if you read the examiner reports HERE, the failure rate is consistently about 50% among the candidates. So it’s the hassle of going through the process and passing the exam, plus the legal requirement to have a licensed CPC manager and a certain responsibility that the transport manager has to assume to be on an O’ licence, that should be worth something.
So, after all, have you been able to find something in that field or are you doing something completely unrelated?

Probably half the members of TN hold an opperator CPC, so why would the want to borrow yours?

Well, I wouldn’t say it was like training to be a doctor or anything, but it is an RSA level 3 exam, so the equivalent of an A level. I don’t think anybody on my course would have said it was easy.

Doing car transporter work at the moment. I sat a RHA course for the CPC exam. Out of the fifteen or so people in there I was the only one that had paid for the course myself. When it’s your own money it tends to focus the mind.
There were a couple of women on their second course, and only about a third of the people had any idea of drivers hours, so the 50% figure above does not surprise me.
So is the course hard or not? I’ve got 4 a levels ( Phys, Maths, Bio, Music) and have been driving for over a year.

On the written exam it is more of reading the question correctly and supplying the right information requested, ie If planning a route for driver and you miss out that they have 30 min pre vehicle check, your schedule is going to be out so they will stop marking and you may loose 6 points or more? Mutiple choice part piece of pi$$
It’s not that hard, but you do need to take the time to study. I don’t think it’s possible to just wing it without studying.
Mind you once you have passed, just like the HGV driving test, it does not make you a specialist in that field!

Exactly right, I haven’t gotten rid of mine & I passed it. Still have a glance at it if I’m not 100% sure. I think you’re mad getting rid of it.
There are so many different types of operation in transport, each use the rules to suit their own business needs. That folder is a great tool when trying to understand this.
None of you get it do you? Dimitri is a TM god, he knows it all, and only needed to go through the motion to pass his cpc… he’s now gratiously offering us a piece of his money making scam… sorry, scheme, so we should really show some gratitude.

That book is a collection of laws, regulations, accounting principles and other info that is publicly available for free on the internet. The book is convenient for studying because it contains just enough material required by the syllabus for the exam. You can also take that book to the Case Study exam R2 as only paper materials are allowed on it, not electronic devices. But once you have passed, if you need to look something up, you can alway find it on the internet.
If the Nodding Donkey here doubts what I say, as he always does, you can ask me anything from that book and I’ll post a link to the answer.
