CPC training at Westway CT Ladbroke Grove

I’ve decided that after 25 years as a London Cabbie I’ve had enough and I’m doing my five days CPC training on July the 13th at Westway CT (Community Transport) based in Acklam Road off Ladbroke Grove in West London.
Just wondering if anyone has used them and are they any good?
Cheers

I assume you are doing all 5 of their LGV courses

yes monday to friday for £310.
Just wondering how Kosher they are as they’re taking forever to get back to me. Rang and emailed several times and it took 3 communications to get an application form sent out which I returned immediately now waiting to be invoiced so I can pay.

Just incase anyone is thinkin of doin any cpc at Westway CT IN Acklam Rd London I can safely say they are a good and proper outfit and the training received was second to none. £65 per day or £300 for the five days which is what I did. Thanks to Kevin Foster and Adrian Mundy, the instructors.

Hello mate,

I had been doing the knowledge for the last two years and have got 10 runs to go
On the blue books. But have recently stopped all of it due to my mates who are cabbie saying they are struggling to get a pound note everyday,a lot of them are blaming it on uber amongst other stuff.just wondered what you’re take on it is and why you’ve now had enough.? Hope you don’t mind me asking just waying it all up in my head.

Cheers

To be honest mate its more relationship related than Uber related. U can still earn money. I was married last year and missus hails from East Anglia, although when I met her in 2008 and right up until we got married last year she lived with me in London. A few other factors involved in me uppin sticks and movin to Ipswich area but I 'm gonna give it a go. Dont fancy cabbing here so did my CPC last week and am looking to start on 7.5tonners asap. If it dont work out we’re both in agreement that I’ll have to go back to London cabbing.
Just the thought of me jackin in after 25 years makes me sad as I am a self confessed London anorak but as I say few other reasons for change but you’ll. be alright…its given me a good living so good luck.

Cheers for that mate, good luck in you’re new venture.
