CPC theory test tomorrow

Hi all,

I have my cpc mod2 tomorrow but have lost the letter I received from DSA. Do I need it with me?

Also what can I expect from the test? I haven’t done any revision for it :blush: :blush:

i never needed the paper as they have your name on there computer i found the theory very easy as a lot of it is self explanatory in the case description i would not panic for starters and just go for for it but if you want to do a bit of revision try http://www.drivingtheory4all.co.uk very good site

no worries i too did not revise a bit and passed basically you get given a case and then qeustions about it you will have the case on the left of the screen so you can refer back to it but it really is a load of crap to get more money out of truckers etc lol you will be fine if you passed the main theory you already answered most of it

I passed mine today and didnt realy revise. It is just another theory test but 5-10 questions will all be on the same case study. Just take ye time on it and you will be sound mate.

I failed mine earlier,1 mark out! Maybe it was just the set of questions that I got but some of them were a bit beyond me, q’s about CMR and groupage. None of that was on the drivingtheory4all site i subscribed to, tho I know they dont have access to the actual questions, just bad luck i guess!

Sorry, don’t mean to cast a downer! Fingers crossed you’ll do fine, the majority of it is common sense and related to the theory test. I agree with cbarnes about it being a cash hoover too, 60 quid and counting in my case :angry:

when i did mine i passed the multiple chioce first time the bit i struggled with was the hazard perception lol got there in the end just got mod 4 left now

Good luck with your test. I passed the multiple choice today, and doing the cpc in two weeks time. Let us know how you got on.

Thanks. I passed my Cat C about four weeks ago but at the time I didn’t have the funds to do my CPC stuff so just getting round to it now.

I need to save up a bit before I can book my Mod 4.

Have already enquired with Ritchies about going for C+E, I’m hooked LOL

I think both of the DCPC tests are the biggest waste of time and money out of all the tests, anyway well done so far and good luck with your mod 4 and C+E :wink:
