cpc query

Hi guys.

I gained my cat c and c+e in 2013 through the military and gained my cat d in june this year when I left. I therefore had to do my cpc to drive a coach. I did my initial cpc on a bus but I want to move on to the trucks.

do I have to do another initial cpc for this?

On my card it just has. D1, d, d1e and de. But another driver ar work has c, ce etc on his and he left the forces the same time as me.

Any help would be great

Yes you need to do initial LGV dcpc UNLESS you already had LGV C1 on your licence perhaps from passing car test before 1997 which is likely to be the case for the other driver

If you passed LGV (not PCV) dcpc mod 2 theory in June then you only need to do LGV mod 4 to get your new DQC
