Just a quickie! if I sat a national CPC, would I still have to bend over & do a driver cpc to carry on driving after 2014? 
Yes
Usually, although some CPC providers are JAUPT approved and it will count towards your DCPC.

Unfortunately none of its seems to count. Actually doing CPC International at the moment and have covered driving hours, load security etc and none counts towards DCPC or as I learned today it’s official name Driver qualification card!

not quite right, as it harry said, some cpc providers are jaupt approved.
i think the ones round our way will give you 21 hours of dcpc if you do an in house cpc course. but you have to ask them, they don’t do it automatically.
if you’ve already done your course, then ask if they’ll upload you a few days worth as good will.
if you don’t ask, you don’t get.
