Over the moon i passed mod 2 today with 48 out of a possible 50
What an easy test it was as well. I was really stressing over it last night due to the lack of infomation around on the web, and in honesty the case study’s don’t actually have that much to do with the actual questions! (which i found really suprising! )
Just MOD 4 to go now and then ill officially be a licensed driver that can work once my license comes back with the big truck printed on the back! !
How long does it actually take for the license to come back when you send off for the class 2 to be added?
Congrats on the pass. You must have your licence as you’ve just done Mod 2. Remember you’ll need to present it for Mod 4 so don’t send it off whatever you do!

Best of luck with it, Pete
Yes sorry, worded it a little badly! When i pass mod 4 itll be getting sent off straight away! just wondering how long it can take! DVLA have seemed pretty quick lately in fairness. Just transfered a reg plate and its only taken a couple of days for the documents to come now just awaiting the new V5’s!
Congrats! I have my Mod 2 on saturday. You got any tips on what to expect? Or what the questions are like? Do they refer to the theory questions or is it just common sense?

Yeah just total common sense backed up with a little bit of knowledge…
One of the questions was John is approaching a tunnel what is the best thing he can do… speed up, put his lights on full beam straddle both lanes or tune into a local radio station.
They do kind of refer to theory but most of it is just common sense buddy. I really was stressing over nothing!
They also ask stuff like jennys truck is 16 tonnes here MAM is 44 tonnes how much payload can she carry.
Possibly confused between Initial cpc and Periodic Training cpc. New drivers without grandfather rights have to pass 2 tests - one theory and one practical demonstration - to become qualified. Having done that, everyone has to complete 35 hours of training within each 5 year period (1 day a year if you like). The lucky ones with grandfather rights have until Sept 2014 to complete the 35 hours if they wish to stay qualified to drive commercially. The periodic training - the 35 hours - is credited simply on attendance and so there is no pass/fail.
Just got 38 out of 50 on module 2,so failed, some of the questions are ambiguous.
Has any one sat it recently and can remember any questions.
Thanks I am booked in again end of august
On some web site (don’t know am I allowed to post link over here)there is a free trial with question samples. Or you can get all of them for 17.99! I tried it and I realize that all the questions are based on LGV Driving Theory, BUT… you should carefully read scenario because answer can be based on that against Driving Theory!

I wouldn’t fret about mod 4 either mate its pretty much a garanteed pass… I stumbled a bit on the last question and the examiner practically gave me the answer lol
