Any one any recommendations for CPC providers in the North West. Been away from driving for a number of years but looking to get things back up to date. Need to do the full 35 hrs. Looking for a decent course not just box ticking as quite rusty.
Cheers

Yeh that’s his mysterious new career move, it also includes a course on ‘Sat navs for morons’
Only problem is his premises have no toilet facilities but he will supplly you with a ‘desypete tramping’ carrier bag …for your 'convenience!
He is very expensive though, Robroy.
I know in 1959 he used to charge £322.59 an hour for his time. He is very special.

why on earth would you want to spend out for a cpc, medical, tacho card etc, to earn the nice sum of 9 quid odd an hour ?
only a moron would do that but your on the right place to ask about it as there are plenty of them on here.
^^^^^ as reliable as a Swiss train! What’s your views on drivers who take their ADR Pete?
I deliver DCPC in Burnley and offer a Trucknet discount if you’re nice to me!
suggest you research what courses contribute to cpc. The only valuable one I did was “first aid” All the others were time wasting, embarrassing rubbish. If my priority had not been lowest price, I would have done ADR, renewed my HIAB or some other valuable/entertaining qualification, Morse code, shot blasting etc

when i first started in transport i wanted to get a job at shell doing adr work
it was the cream of the hgv jobs and you could never get a job in there as the only time a vacancy came up was if someone died, the money was great, you was well taken care off etc
now there are jobs going in all the top company’s why do you think that is ?
its because anyone with half a brain got out of it when the going was good, many took a nice handshake and went back to there same old job but on much less money working for the contractors who took over the running of the transport and its gone downwards ever since.
lets put it this way i wouldnt be getting a cpc nor would i be daft enough to go for an adr and drive dangerous gear around for the money that is on offer, maybe its because i know what the job used to be worth where as the new breed dont have a clue, they see 12 quid an hour as a decent pay packet compared to 9 or 10 quid doing general hgv ?
either way i see it as there morons just the same.

Don’t go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before
Don’t imagine you’re too familiar
And I don’t see you anymore
I wouldn’t leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I’ll take the bad times
I’ll take you just the way you are
Don’t go trying some new fashion
Don’t change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care
I don’t want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.
I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.
I said I love you and that’s forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are.
