I just sat and passed my class 1 on Friday and someone mentioned that the training can go towards Cpc hours, anyone know if this it true or do I need to fork out still more money??

It could if the training provider had registered the course with JAUPT - ask them, they’re the only people who will know.

As said the course has to be registered with JAUPT for it to count towards your periodic training hours, it’s worth asking, but don’t build your hopes up to much because if it was registered you would probably have paid extra for it.
As you have already done and passed the LGV CE then even if that course was approved it is too late to pay the extra and have it count towards the 35 hours needed
