Does anybody know if it is possible to do a forklift licence course which will also include so many hours towards driver cpc please?
I’m experienced at using a forklift but have never taken a course to do so. Just thought I could kill two birds with one stone so to speak if it’s possible.
I did for both reach and counter balance and it was like pulling teeth. 3 days of my life I won’t get back, could have done it in half the time, for their accreditation it needed to last 3 days, not unlike our own Cpc.

Exactly I cant imagine you are much more proficient after 3 days than 1!

Quick side track…
Today our landlord wanted the 3 companies that share the yard unloading zone to put all 6 forklifts together for a photo to prove how busy the yard is. (Don’t ask.) This just happened to coincide with 1 artic turning up for a delivery, they were just lining up for the photo as he undid his curtains, and his poor face when 5 out of 6 disappeared was a picture in itself!!!
We have to do all the flt tests and refreshers, as we move and deliver all kinds of forklift trucks.
We still have to sit the full dcpc.
Not a great issue for us as we get it as Saturday overtime rate paid for by the company
