CPC for new driver question

Hi

I passed my licence back in 1996 so i’ve got the c1 and c1e

so i’ve decided to take up driving and a lot of the places are asking for the cpc

so what course would I need to attend? the 35 hours course or the shorter 7 hour one?

Because you are a driver with acquired rights you can choose to attend 35 hours of DCPC training or be treated as a new driver and take the Initial CPC Module 2 and 4 tests. Either route will work and you will get your first CPC.

A single 7 hour course won’t be much use to you - you’d need to attend 5 of them :smiley:
