I’m a bus driver and I’ve just passed my class 1. I’ve heard I will need to take a CPC conversion test. What is the difference with a conversion test and the original CPC hgv test ?. I did manage to book a CPC test online but I’ve gone back to try and book an earlier date but there is no option there for a CPC test ?. Hope someone can help.

I think - not certain - that it is simply the PCV Qs are removed and replaced with LGV ones
So I would be better just to take the original test?. Also there is no option when I try and book online for the CPC test.
When did you pass your car test?
It may be you have grandfather rights and need to do 35 hours cpc truck training to get your card

I passed my car test in 1999 and bus test in 2010 ?
