Using available preliminary data, the median time from onset to clinical recovery for mild cases is approximately 2 weeks and is 3-6 weeks for patients with severe or critical disease
I had it mate. Was ill in bed for 2 days. Didnt need to visit a funeral director nor did I feel the need to visit the hospital. It was very much like having flu.
It seems you are a freak of nature yorkie or something else

How so?
Remember some are asymptomatic. They will have the virus for a couple of weeks, but spend zero days in bed.
Quite possible to spend 2 days laid up. That doesn’t mean only 2 days with virus.
Asymptomatic carrying is why we all need to take precautions all the time.

Wow better get myself into a circus then.
It was 2 days in bed and about 3 days after just feeling a bit grotty. Up and about feeling fine after that. But I still havent recovered my sense of smell.

From your other post it seems you haven’t been able to detect the smell of bovine-faeces about C19 denial for ages.

Not a C19 denial, Im a civil libertarian. I rail against the draconian measures to contain an illness that is on the whole not life threatining.
When you have a relative who is dying and needs an operation to try and prolong their life but the NHS has cancelled their treatment, you too tend to be against this whole charade.

Yep, I am aware of the asymptomatic ones. Just from what I understood most that get sick spend more than two days in bed but yeah it’s possible.
Apologies yorkie.
We have hand gel, gloves and ant-bac wipes available.
In March/April everybody was cleaning & sanitising like mad, even had blokes driving round in gloves all day. The hand gel dispensers in the depot were getting emptied regularly as people obsessively sanitised. As times gone on it has noticeably relaxed to the point where many lads don’t seem to be bothering at all & the hand gel dispensers haven’t needed refilling in over a month.
Our whole depot of around 100 drivers have been working throughout this whole pandemic, many of the cabs are shared, nobodies been ill.
fill a spray bottle (empty kitchen cleaner ?) with zaflora , kills germs ,smells nice and is cheap .quick spray and a wipe over with a paper towel , jobs a guddun
Hand gel and wipes galore, once you’ve used a bottle/tub you get a replacement given. I even recall picking up four pallets of tubs of wipes from one of our distribution centres for the transport department at my base. There’s even a tub on the counter and you’re expected to wipe down your keys when you hand them over at the end of the shift and if you don’t the TM office staff do.
msgyorkie:
Anything we wanted was supplied.
At the start we all went mad and ordered Actibacterial spray by the 5 lt drum. Antibacterial wipes, mask, gloves, goggles etc etc just to wipe the cab down.
Now we know its nothing more than Flu we dont bother anymore.
