A nice Mandator from Mortons. Not sure where this photo came from so if I’ve done anything wrong, take it off.
That was a Mandator on contract to Gonrand in Newhaven
I think the guys on the contract where Alan Zealand,Noel Morrow,Ron Kirton, Jack Lipman, and I think it was Alan Godson, traffic clerk over them was George Kinsett when they were in No1 depot

Hi,Dieseldog 66 ,Did Ron Kirton move up to North Wales.we had a Ron Kirton work with us. He came from Coventry and He had a brother called Ken Kirton who had a haulage firm. You could see the yard from the M6. I think he has packed in now because they have built houseson the site. Could this be the same person. cheers Barry

Hi jay8686, what was your uncles name as I also worked for Mick Lambert when he was at Dunchurch and at Rugby Forwarding(late 90’s) and still see him although he is now out of transport. If my memory is right he only did a couple of trips to the Middle East, first one the F89 and the 142 went and the second time he sent a 143.Most of his work was to Spain and Portugal and I did a run to Germany
