Just out of curiousity, whats the going rates for Van’s on Courier work?
Are they on mileage or job rates?
Usually mileage, rates depend on vehicle size anything from 50 to 140pplm for trade more for end user. Unavoidable tolls, CCL etc are additional, but certainly wouldn’t price a London job on mileage.
If want to work for the likes of city sprint then it 47.5ppm to 52.5ppm not out of hours rates this for a combo size van royalmail sameday 50ppm these are all loaded mileage large vans 3pallet vans are mainly 80-90ppm don’t buy a bible off the internet wheat ever you do the rates are dreamer rates backloads are like rocking horse ■■■ I trade as a courier and do keep my eye on the rates people pay eBay stuff people what it doing for peanuts for the big boys you’ll be expceted to have a van 4 years old or newer and insurances are 2.5k to 4.5k all in hope this helps
