hi, not really new, had my licence for over 2 years, but not a full time driver, yet.
anyway, I usually pull fridges, and these have palm couplings. Some of them are in pretty bad nick and you cant tell which is red/yellow. Are the usually sided, if so which. Thanks.
Hi - I’m sure someone will have a better answer than this, but I’ll venture my opinion!
I used to pull Gefco trailers with palm couplings. They were never marked red or yellow and you just got used to putting the male/female conections on the correct sides.
If you do get it the wrong way, you shouldn’t be able to move the trailer anyway as the red airline won’t be properly connected and so the trailer won’t shift. Hope that helps.
