Please see bough video
Trailer 13 1/2 feet tall
Thanks
Off (add another word )
Looks like a regular one stop delivery area.
some really good advice hear
. If it’s through that gate then I say no because of how it bends immediately through them. From the other end though yes from what you can see. I’m only 3 years in driving rear steer 26, 33 and 40ft rear steers though so I know nothing.
But if i widened the other side of the gate then could the unit and trailer turn
Sounds like you want get a trailer down there. If so ask the company your planning to use if they can send someone do a risk assessment and there tell you what needs moving etc.
End day though all depends on the driver. Get a good driver he will do it on one attempt no problems.
Get another he will struggle and maybe refuse.
Sorry I do not do risk assesments
Do you think its do’able or needs more space?
Can’t tell much from those videos. We can see that it is a two lane road, plus footpath, so about 4m.
We cannot tell the width of the gateway. Your trailer will be about 2.5m wide. If the gateway is only just that or a fraction more the vehicle will need to go in at right angles, so no chance. If wider and the lane beyond is angled, them maybe.
Just can’t tell from the info given.
In my oponom will be worth a few quid pay a driver to come have a look and he will tell you what needs moving and wether it’s doable
If you just pay a company they turn up on the day say no chance there still charge you
Anybody? ![]()
Ya ever thought about doing a risk assesmsent on it to find out ? ![]()
Are you tipping or loading traction could be a problem and that busy road too. Best bet is get a local haulier to check it out
the 2 tracks is just some crush i have put down on the ground for bough sides of the trailer and units wheels to reverse/ drive down
The gate is 12 foot wide
Tipping or loading traction?
Sorry , if you can get the trailer where you want it will it be loading or unloading?
