Quite close to me and I have no idea what even made him want to try it. I don’t believe a satnav would have taken him that way, even if it was just a car one. Might take a stroll along later & see how they get him out. Fun fun.
There are signs at each of the entrances to the area saying ‘Unsuitable for HGVs or vehicles over 7ft wide’, would have thought that would have been enough of a clue. All that remains is a lot of skid marks and a partially collapsed wall.

Dirty ■■■■■■■ could have taken his undies away with him surely.
That is a tight lane, although nice and wide at the top and if memory serves a car tomtom would take you down to Nailsworth if you had put in anything Bath related from Stroud and you had come up Culver hill for example, it would just keep saying take the next turn and this would look wide enough to be tempting.
I unloaded on knapp lane Hyde towards Bourne nr there ,it was that tight I had to reverse back up to the top ,the walls were up to the steps each side .
Holy crap! I remember going to see a football match at forest green, and there are roads there I was uncomfortable taking my car down, let alone a lorry
When we moved back down we were looking at a property on Marle Hill in Chalford, I spoke to the estate agent asking if it was ok to get a van down to the property, her answer was that yes, it would be fine to get down but we probably wouldn’t get back out again… Says it all.
