I know it’s not far but is my only option back up the m1, m6 to j1 back down m6 and onto the a14. I have never had to do it before, am I right in thinking the is no option from m1 north to a14 at j19.
Two choices, either jump on the M1 and spin round at junction 20 and join from southbound, or go to junction 1 of the M6 and do it that way, you are correct in thinking you cant join from the M1 northbound.
If it’s early yeah go up the M6 and come back down if it’s after 7am i’d go upto J20 M1 and come back down as the queue’s off of the M6 to the A14 can be quite long mate
