It does costa fortune, but I think it’s the only thing the services have got right. Ideal with a hazlenut shot as a treat. I usually like one to start my day with one, then revert to the flask. (I bake my own muffins and take one with me , saves a fortune
). Breakfast whilst on the move. Hmmmmm. Now if they have a microwave, I might even start warming them up. Mmmmmmmmmm. Warm bluberry muffins.

Clearly you’re loaded if you have money to spend at MSA’s.

One? One? Weird.
Your right about Costa Coffee though, I often call in at Clacket Lane for one of their large cups to see me through the long last leg of the journey from there to Slough.
I try and treat myself to a ‘nice’ coffee at least once a day… a Perk of the job… so to speak… besides, it’s only costs 15minutes pay, and it takes that long to queue for one, so IMO it works out free…
Luv
Chrisie…

I’d not thought of it like that, I like your style .
Neil, I bet your tacho shows stops ever 20 mins or so for a cuppa/wee. I’m not suprised the WTD isn’t affecting you .

Big thermos cup means not having to stop and I usually take a break every 2 - 3 hours anyway and if I have to ‘wee’ more often than that i guess I would be ill.

Or pregnant…
If I was pregnant I wouldn’t be driving a sodding truck, I’d be making a fortune from the movie rights, book deals etc.
Liberace, does that mean you will be baking blueberry muffins for us all for truckfest.

I have acquired a cafetiere. Boil some water, pour it onto some ground coffee, push the plunger and there you go.

I’ve got one of them but it is a combined cafetiere and mug, cuts down the washing up.
Ground coffee in the mug, on with the water, leave to brew for a bit then push plunger thing down. It’s slides down a groove in the side of the mug, great little gadget.
I personally, when I’m out on the road, prefer one of our customers shops to put the kettle on.I find this usually saves a small fortune, enabling me to spend my hard earned wonga on other things.
Ken.
I normally make time in a morning for a proper coffee, unfortunately in England I have to put up with tepid coloured water
