The company name alone would be enough to make me give them a swerve.
This, it’s the blandest yet most annoying name you can imagine

Er…no mate. You’re wrong. It couldn’t happen to any of us. Any class 1 driver with experience of urban/around town work wouldn’t have even got in that pickle in the first place,
Yip… and it was bloody funny. Especially the clip of his kipper… you get what you pay for lol
Set up and run by the ponsonby family (old Birmingham hauliers, may have gone bust in the 90’s?) started of as a fancy glorified clearing house subbing out smurfit kappa work ex Birmingham and Kent. Then got into sorting out the waste collections for smurfitt, of which Lidl sites where a part of. One thing led to another and now they have there own trucks again, mostly Lidl work, but they have vax at Worcester as well as the smurfitt finished products out, and waste back in that they have started doing on there own trucks. Decent and fair to deal with from a subbing point of view, but do seem to be big into trying to copy how the big boys operate regarding ‘mission statements’ over the top h&s and the usual thing nowadays of using 10 words when two will do.

This is from their blog;So is there actually a driver shortage? The DVSA report that 664,000 drivers had completed their 35 hours of mandatory training prior to the 9th September deadline. In addition to that of course there are an, as yet, unknown number of workers that are compliant with the Driver CPC regulations through gaining the qualification in other EU member states. They are of course, much to the irritation of Nigel Farage, free to work in the UK at any time. This would suggest, if the right rate can be paid commercially, there is a big pool of drivers to select from, if you are looking in the right places.
The last sentence of that blog post says if you pay enough money you’ll not have a shortage of drivers wanting to work for you. They seem to be one of the few companies who recognise if you pay crap you’ll struggle to put bums on seats.

Have to throw my hat in the ring regarding the firms name,a tripple whammy of 3 of the most pretentious, pukesome words it’s possible to imagine, yet reassuring i’m not alone in my loathing.Corporate conjurs up repulsive images i find and most enlightened folks are way far from impressed.
You have to sympathise with the office staff who have to parrot this tripe down the blower day to day.Truly nauseating.
