Been into Coopers truckstop @ Risby for breakfast and the cafe is closed until further notice.
Truck parking still open.
Checking online at stuff and it’s been closed for about a month.
No indication it will re-open.
I bet there isn’t a reduction in the parking cost whilst there is no food available.

that’s the way Jacks’ Hill went…cafe closed but ok to park overnight…then bang…all shut down

Tbh my drivers carry my own credit cards it’s their choice what they do ,I don’t do the driver pays and I pay back or £26 bit it’s what ever it takes pub meal or hotel truck stop or services 
We also have company credit cards to pay for parking. Company demands that overnight parking must be in places with at least a toilet and wash facilities.

When i use to drive for my cousin years back, he had the same system. Worked well, all he asked for was a a receipt for everything but when one of the drivers presented him with a receipt from a knocking shop in Mannheim ,Dave didnt see the funny side

Neither am I - but there are a few good ones out there that deserve some trade . I’m assuming this is Coopers Cabin just of the A14 , if so I’ve used it and found it spot on , good food and decent , secure parking . Be a shame to loose places like that .
