Jeez 76. That was the year I passed my hgv. Don’t remember it being that hot in the driving school D series!

I’m going old school in a new (to me) lorry with no AC and only the nearside window opens… it’s been quite toasty today!

That was the year I got my HGV I. Remember it being nice and warm. Wasn’t there a “plague of ladybirds” or similar? I seem to remember being bitten by them too??
I’m sure we always had more insects smearing the windscreen in the past? Aerodynamics explains lesson cars but trucks are still shaped like bricks.
