It’s the lead vehicle driver’s fault.

How do you know he cut in anyway?
Maybe the guy was following a livestock motor and those hogs were clogging up his sinuses and getting INtense up there, so he backed off another 10 to let a microbus in behind a suicide jockey.who was haulin dynamite, cos he needed all the help he could get…just a possibility.
All you plumbs in said convoy caused the issue. The other driver wanted passed you should have used your professional judgement to ease off and let him pass without issue. It takes two or five in this case to elephant race.

I always drop back and let folk in expecting them to get a shift on not sit there picking there ring , the amount of times folk overtake then drop back is daft if ha gonna overtake I wanna see you ■■■■ off into the distance not do 49 on the m ■■■■■■■ 18

And the government want to have platoons/convoys of driverless trucks!!!
Cant we start a national elephant champion ship , and at the end of the year have like a derby, just an idear.
If someone cuts in too early, it’s bad driving by them. If trucks are following each other too closely, not allowing overtakers in, it’s bad driving by them.
Maybe one or the other or both in this case?
Maybe avoidable if each driver in the convoy had his own map and a copy of the delivery address?

Got to take gradients into account. I know I’ve misjudged an overtake and it’s taken too long. By the time I’m flashed in we’re going uphill and I’m going to struggle to pull away.
All I can do is sit in Lane two and let them pass me on the left. Not ideal but safer than the alternative in my opinion.
