It would be fun to get some information about those trucks that participated in the trip to Gothenburg in 2002, and maybe to get in touch with the guys driving them. I drove a bus from 1964 a couple of days then, and a F86 to Helsingborg later that week… and I still have this hanging on the wall

I know of a guy from Gt Yarmouth who went on the run with his F89. He took a tilt with him and brought 4 cabs back, (2 F88 and 2 F89) though at least one (may have been 2) were daycabs. I ended up buying one of the F89 (sleeper) cabs off him for the 89 I had at the time, although I have since sold both the F89 and the replacement cab.

That´s right, he had a modern trailer with three axels… so he was easy to recognize and remember. Stefan, the guy who sold those cabs has an F88 painted in ASG´s colours that´s really a nice restored truck.
I regret that I not had my camera with me, it´s not that often we have such visit from another country. So I´m trying to get in touch with some of the participants from that trip, and maybe be able to borrow some pics from them.
