Convoi exceptionnel fridge trailer

HIya all

seen this green and white trailer on the a14 and also at colchecster, im sure its a fridge but could be wrong but looks like its a fruit and veg supplier, and it has ‘convoi exceptionnel’ written in green on the trailer.

my question is it convoi exceptionnel because its a tri-steer trailer? because the axles are not bunched together they are spaced about 3 ft apart from each other, if its tri steer but be fun to reverse with,

cheers all

these?

these?

yes those are the ones, o.k may not 3ft apart lol lol. are they rear steer?

Well I thought it would be kinda obvious, but I guess its a joke way of saying their fruit and veg is of exceptional quality.

perfect reply, without a hint of sarcasm, or nuffink

And yes they are rear steer all 3 axles

This case is solved now, but I think there might be another explanation.

The Scandinavian outfits (with two trailer) sometimes go to Poland - for Truckfests etc. And they are treated like oversized vehicles, they got ■■■■■■ vans and CONVOI EXEPTIONEL signs on them…

Why do they write it in French then? Wouldn’t they use Bred Last?

I think French is kinda of international language for road traffic.

On old Polish driving licenses for example there were two signs: Prawo Jazdy and Permis de counduire.

I think the language they are using is Ecosse’.

They just want to make sure it’s not signwritten on the front or rear - bloody Kermits would fine them for NOT being over-dimensional :unamused:
