Just wondering if anyone else has the same thing happen to them.
Every so often I will get it, I look in the mirror and convince my self that a strap has come loose or is flapping about in the wind. Or you think something has moved.
But when you stop and check its as tight as when you started off and all is well.

yes mate, done lot’s of flatbed work over the years. your just being conscious of your load and its affect it could have if you lose it. if your new to flat work your confidence will build with time.hth.
Perhaps the mirror needs tightening
Yeah its called paranoia - perfectly ok until the voices start telling you its going to fall off or the ghost driver appears in the passenger seat to warn of impending doom (thats a good story fir RDCs).
Get it quite often usually around “did i put the pin clip in” or is the pin sitting on top despite the clip going in (I blame Juddian
). Just means you care about the job unlike those who lose the load or slam into bridges.
The loaders in our place ( builders merchant) have a habit of loading things not quite in line with the body , it looks ok standing at the side .but looking through the mirrors a different matter , lost count of the number of times ive stopped to check things gavent moved.
