Hi i have weighed my iveco 7.5 ton and its weighed in at 4,800 which doesn’t leave me much to play with.
is it possible to upgrade to 12 ton or is there to much work involved to make it worth while. Many Thanks

I wouldn’t think you will have enough wheel studs even to go to 10 tonne gross ,at best I’d guess it will up rate to the gross axle weights .
We had 2 MANS, 8.224 and 10.224 on road at 7.5t and 10t respectively. They were identical, except for the wheels (same studs though), the tyres, the springs… Oh and the 7.5t had no speed limiter, 10t did.
7.5t to 12t I would say no chance, they normally go to 19.5 wheels don’t they ? Presumably to fit the bigger brakes.
