Contracts

The part of the company I work for is being re- named so I’m led to believe ( umpteenth time ) , now from fmcg to mib( manufacturing, industry, bulk,)no change as far as I’m aware in t&c, s , just a name change , should you get anything that states this , or is it fine to just change parts of company names .

Jesus Stobarts is really going down the pan now or is it just the bit that Andrew Whatshisname runs? I wonder how much money the old company owes.

Should be issued with a new contract in the new company name with the old terms on under TUPE.

If I went to an interview and they said well put you on FMCG I think I’d have to walk out, what’s with the poncy names that’s taken 6 executives 3 meetings to decide, just call it shopping trollies or something relatively normal, suppose I’m just old fashioned.

don’t think that there is a need for new contracts for a name change. I also don’t think that TUPE is involved. Last employer changed name 3 times whilst was there with no issues and was a very strong union place.

No contract change or even any need to tell you they’ve changed their name really, ANC did it years ago and it was business as usual for all the shop floor staff.

Stop feeding the troll.
