I’ll be starting to put feelers out in the new year to replace my truck. The easiest option would probably to just take on another one from my existing supplier but obviously if any of you guys know of any decent deals out there I’d appreciate your feedback. I was thinking if Scania are going to be pushing sales on the new S series maybe I could get a reasonable deal on a R series. They always seem 10% plus dearer. It will be a 6x2 unit that I need currently running a 510 Actros which is a good truck on the whole. It’s major let down is ride comfort although I’ve been informed this has been improved on newer models.
Would it be an option to buy your Actros off the dealer. Better the devil you know 
I can assure you the ride quality on new ones are just as bad as any other mercedes.
If you like been thrown around the cab go for it.
