It was one of our casual drivers in those last lot of high winds we had.
I got sent out later in the night to bring the load of pallets back to the yard

Heres all the pics i took that night

nice pic of the ford cargo drawbar - always remember, about 12 years ago, the firm i worked for knew a BIG contract we’d been busy with for years was about to go ■■■■ up but the boss was in denial or something  :unamused:

anyway end it did and as the trucks started returning to the yard on the friday afternoon from the continent, with not much planned in for the following week, i got a call from a bloke i’d approached many months before called (i think) colin jones at CC wrexham to ask if we could do 14 x 120m3 loads to poland that night / the following day and have them in radomsko by tuesday - yeah no problem at all i said like we had trucks just sitting around waiting for his call  the work ran for a good few months and got us out of a tight spot

Great Photos, the german side has or did have a trailer on the road here inGermany which was over length and had a specia´l permit, this was before the giga liner was thought about,

Yes jj72 it would of been Colin Williams he was our boss up untill a few years ago when he took early retirement,
he started with BRS not long after leaving school.
His daughter is now running the transport.
The can still have the plant out in radomsko, but i can`t see our place ever sending one of our motors over there.
The poles bring most of it over now in them little wagon & drags with the single axle trailers

but mine only came the short distance upto the Wrexham plant jj72
