I’ve looked ,I’ve clicked on a moderators avatar in the hope of finding a way to contact admin, I cant find a way to contact one directly
So I have struggled with this new version of a once excellent site since its reincarnation, its never worked for me with its random timelines, missing buttons /flags and icons that have no explanation.
Sorry lads, and ladies but I have decided to leave the site, not that I can find a way to close my account !!!.
Thank you to the excellent members who have made worthwhile contributions, even an my age i still learn new things on here, but as they say good things come to an end and i wish to enjoy my retirement with out having to hunt for stuff on here .

Given that you’ve decided to leave the site, we have to offer you the opportunity to delete any of your posts that you wish to delete.
Alternatively, you could choose to simply not visit the site in future, then over the passage of time your posts will simply drop down the listings. This would offer you the chance to revisit at a later date if you change your mind.
Please have a think about what you’d like to do, then post up your instructions.

Before I start bellyaching (again 
) I fully understand all this aint down to you, but as it has been brought up, I just wondered what your thoughts are as the .FM…(I also understand you have better things to do on a Sunday am than indulge me..)
Anyhoo that said.
So what is it now?..18 months or so on?
Would you agree that things have changed a lot on this site since the old one?..and for better or worse?.
A lot of members (including me) did not like it initially, many just stopped using it even some of more ‘prolific’ members have not returned, which is a loss to the forum imo, but some have on other hand.
I aint the most tech savvy bloke by any means, a lot on here will have found it easy on the change…not me, and many more did not,.
And it seems even this far on some are still giving up on it..(the o/p)
I have noticed there aint nearly as much ‘‘traffic’’ on here, as in the old days if you couldn’t be arsed to go out on a Saturday night for example, you could have a conversation/discussion with about 4 or 5 others for a couple of hours, not so much now I notice.
You put a post up late night and chances are it aint replied to even next morning.
I aint saying the site is ‘done’ by any means,.I still enjoy it spend a bit of time on here if at a loose end,.and still enjoy some of the ‘arguments’ …maybe a bit much on a couple of occasions with a certain member. 
I aint on FB or anything like that, really cba with all the trivial type trouble it causes, and the sympathy seekers, so this is the limit of my ‘social media’ if ya like , and I’d be sorry to see it’s demise.
So basically Dave…How do ya see it panning out in the future.and has any ‘concern’ been shown by owners management etc?

Hello Dave , I had a think and had a younger person try the site this morning, looking at one topic I had to trawl through posts from april 2004 !! to get to a post i was interested in.
Its the functionally issues that grinds my gears.
I do enjoy the content here even if i have to endure very old stuff !!
I will not de register but no longer post for the time being its a shame, maybe one day the owners will make the site work better.
The members on here are mainly a good lot , you especially Dave.
I’ll log off for now.
