Was speaking to a Class 1 driver yesterday whilst waiting for my load to be gotten ready, he said that Felixstowe is desperate for Class 1 drivers. He appreantly keeps getting calls from his previous boss begging him to come back. £900 a week he claimed. Is what he said true or usual RDC nonsense?

Bet he was a v8 scrapia driver with cab curtains half closed,20 thousand lights all over it & drives every where with front fog lights on daytime & night time !

First bit is true, there is a shortage off driver’s, but £900 a week, yeah right :unamused:

I’m struggling on £899 a week, never get £900. yeah yeah I jest, its £850 a week, and all the yorkies I can eat :wink:
