What do you guys think is a fair amount of time for a turn a round at these places, some of these ones up north are getting very over crowded and 3 hr waits are not uncommon
we used to do Freightliner Bedminster in Bristol turn around was about an hour max but everything was booked and timed, one motor loading the train one tipping / loading and there was never really a queue…
Freightliner are the bane of my life, so far as much as I quit my last job (ISOTank) after an argument / awkward â– â– â– â– â– â– â– there, and left the truck and trailer there.
I’ve literally gone in there at 4.15am before now and still been late for a 9am job around the corner.
Unionised muppets - love a job there myself mind
I was told recently that companies in the midland’s were expected to get 7 hr turnaround at freightliner in Birmingham it’s not usually that bad but if they are busy 3 hrs is nothing leeds is the same
Biggest laugh is Stobarts/O’Connors in Widnes. The cheeky gits have a sign outside boasting of the quickest turn around time of any terminal. That only applies to their own vehicles! They do their own as soon as they arrive, everybody else has to wait, and that can mean hours.
