Container lift transport

Has anybody worked for this mob if so what a they like as I’m thinking of applying for a job.

According to a couple of their ex drivers I know, it’s good wages, monthly pay, but they don’t treat you as well as some firms. They both ran in from jobs on Christmas Day, which was their last days incidentally. Although don’t take all this as gospel as I’m not 100% about that. I do know they don’t have any yards. You find the parking near home, they sort the rest. Head office is not far from me, near great Dunmow, but they only have one driver round here who parks on a farm by stanstead airport

I gather it’s a fair bit of faffing around . They do a lot of box change overs that involves first putting your box down moving the other box then putting new one in its place then picking other one up again . Last time I came across them they had a lot of poles on there but that was a few years ago

How does that comply with the terms of their O licence ?

Don’t care about the poles as they wouldn’t be in my cab. As for faffing about better than pulling curtains back on a windy/rainy day or ropping or sheeting hate that.
Thanks for the info. Though

Like the parking near home but hate monthly pay as for xmas day working could happen to any of us in this business

They have previously advertised for drivers in Thurrock and Grangemouth. Wages are 35 to 40k. You have to go for weeks training in Southampton first, don’t know if it’s paid or not.

I am led to believe they have o licences in various Volvo dealers around the country. I’m assuming they apply for a licence when you source parking, unless they work on the premise that the truck goes back for servicing, within the required time frame

Having read wing-nuts post, I seem to think they have some spaces in Titan Truckstop
