Container lift side lifters Any info please usual things anyone know anything about them
Erm, they lift containers?
Like a big tractor with a boom that extends and goes over the top of a box, locks and lifts it to its location.
Just make sure you undo your twist locks

I think that they drop off/upload containers from ground /trailer level as the crane is a bit of a cantilver gubbins on the trailer.
Hope this helps.
I think he’s after specifics on working for the firm called container lift based in Yamworth. (Twinned with the Black Country) . Or not?
Based in Essex?
Hi, I used to work for container lift a few years ago out of Felixstowe, there head office is based in great dunmow Essex and they run trucks from all over the uk, I enjoyed my time there the work is vary varied from household collections and scrap for Africa etc to helicopters and planes exotic cars things that are easier to load on the ground. The money was good when I was there and trucks are ok, the trailers are from New Zealand and pretty easy to use once you have been trained which is all done in house. I only left as they put a driver in the office to run transport I didn’t get on with. Your out most the week and run all over the country. Some of the places you go can be really tricky to get too small lanes, very small entrances etc it’s a very varied and interesting job and more enjoyable than normal straight forward container transport. Hope that helps, like I say it was a few years ago I worked there.
as far as i no the money use to be pretty good but its change dramatically but i was told there pk to work for
