as you say it’s down to personal preference and circumstances
I don’t want to sound like one of the ‘I wouldn’t get out of bed for that’ guys but it’d have to be an amount of money that was almost unobtainable for me anywhere else to work constant weekends
however - the money will be decent, and you might end up just sticking with it but not being really happy about working those hours
I wouldn’t be working for Tesco if i had to work every weekend, I can just about put up with the 25% extra coz I don’t have to work every weekend, if I had to work every weekend I’d be wanting 50% extra for weekends.
As for shift length, they do say shifts are 6-12 hours, but I’ve not done a 6 hour shift in the 18 months I’ve been there, if they wanted me to go home after 6 hours I’d refuse, but I have known agency lads sent home after 6 hours, we’ve got drivers who wanna do 9-10 hours a day and others who will do their 15’s & 13’s most weeks, they say they want you to do reasonable amount of overtime, I’d class 5-10 hours a week as reasonable
