Just had my medical and the Doc confirmed that my eyesight results were as follows;
corrected left - 6/6
corrected right - 6/6 ( I presume these are perfect scores?)
uncorrected left - 6/9
uncorrected right - 6/15
From the information provided by DVLA that arrived with the D4, I cannot work out if I have passed the sight test or not.
Can any one helpâ– â– ?
Did the doctor tick you with a clear bill of health?
If so no worries.
Lots of truckers need glasses or lenses to correct the sight. As long as it IS corrected by the use of either glasses or lenses to wear when driving then there is no problem as far as I know
That’s a pass OK.
Uncorrected in each eye must be at least 3/60, so 6/9 & 6/15 are fine.
Corrected must be no worse than 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the other one, so 6/6 is fine.
My last medical was 6/36 uncorrected, 6/6 & 6/5 corrected and I was OK.
