Now I know you UK lot will probably cringe at my apparent ignorance, but having read thriugh this working time directive stuff i am completely confused.
No one I know in Spain has heard of it, nor uses it - whatever “it” is.
So assuming its something different to the EU Drivers Hours regs for the good old tacho, what are these regs and where do I record the hours I work, and how can my working hours be different to my tacho hours anyway?
These WTD rules are in addition to, not instead of, Tacho rules.
The WTD rules we have to work with are actually the Road Transport Directive, part of WTD.
There are a couple of Stickys, by Lucy at the top of this forum which spell out what’s required.
Your working hours will be the same as your tacho hours.
Breaks and POA don’t count as worked hours under WTD and Tacho rules.
think of WTD as keeping someone in work ,it was in idea thought up by err could have been a butcher for all i know.it is to make life better for you to obtain better wages more time off to go to gym or persue that hobby you have never had time for ,in realty iit will make more work for you and put you in akward posotions trying to obay it LETS GET IT BOOTED OUT
