Thats an interesting response… if you had taken the time to check you would have noticed that it’s a South African surname…check your facts before making assumptions.
So, he ploughs into stationary, queuing traffic on a dual carriageway with unobstructed vision, without making any attempt to brake, yet he is “probably not at fault”? Interesting logic there…
Are you kidding me, unless I’m very much mistaken the surname ‘Cothill’ has its origins in Lanarkshire. (Yeah I googled the ancestry and did a genelogical cross check, bit excessive but hey hoo).
That’s no relevance though as the whole ‘distracted by tachograph’ argument is total bollox.
Let me guess it was distracting the driver due to an overspeed, that’s even forking worse.
If you are in a job where a moment’s inattention can lead to prison and multiple injuries then the job is clearly underpaid at some of the rates there are.
