my bro [who lives in France] came over here tother month when all the restrictions were in place, got his special vaccine certificate and no end of paperwork with him but was just waved thru at customs didnt even get it out his pocket
Not much need for UK officials to do that. The plane/train/ferry company would have checked all of that before letting him board.
They could cop a fine and have to repatriate him if they bring in an illegal entry.
They are pretty strict about all of this stuff.

That Franky ain`t the one wetting hisself about the boogey-men trying to control him, or sobbing about how tough it is to wear a mask.

I don’t think ANYBODY has said it’s ‘tough to wear a mask’, it’s just the default retort by those who try and defend or justify it.
Only ‘sobbers’ are those who are getting arrested about it and spending far too much time concentrating on it.
Never been asked once to wear a face covering in the last two weeks, maybe they are just too happy to see such a good looking face.
Just realised I’ve admitted to ‘‘breaking the law’’ on Trucknet…ooh the shame and the forthcoming repercussions.
Showed a bloke smoke, then put ten masks on, then go running.
He was fine.

I followed the…
Link Jake, which doesn’t appear to show me problems in London, just a doctor chattering on about Omnicron. Perhaps you’ve put the wrong link up?
However, Anti-vaxxers attacked The Apple store in London today in the belief that it’s owned by Bill Gates. Perhaps they got their information from the internet?

Very enterprising Luke.
Have you thought about Premier league football teams?
Think of the potential demand… football grounds holding an average of around 40000 fans all wearing masks.
You can have that one for free, , (but remember me when you’re a millionaire because of it.)
Btw any signs of a job driving yet?
Oh blimey yes great idea! Two new stickers I’ve put up are proving popular too

Nope, not wrong link. Quite near the start when he quotes the health minister.

At 2min 45sec?
Quotes Javid saying “95% of Covid most ill are unvaccinated” ?
So, about only 10% (?) of population are not jabbed, but they are 95% of the really sick ?
Seems to be a clear message.

Pesky unvaccinated.
Shame there are over 20 million of us, guess the population has grown somewhat.
And there are only 10 people in hospital WITH Omicron, none ventilated. (MIGHT HAVE RISEN TO 11!!!)

Even sky news are questioning it now ffs.
Perhaps it’s the modelling, slight problem with that

Maybe you should move to New York, they have the right idea don’t they?

Genuine question for you Franglais… how come you believe every word the government and its advisors tell you about covid, but don’t believe a word the same government and its advisors say about Brexit?
There are a lot of people other than the government that have legitimate info. Personally I don’t listen to any government.

This would have been the most sensible thing you ever said, but you literally just quoted the health minister in the post above

Are you seriously saying that 65 people in hospital justifies lockdowns etc?

No, of course not. Who mentioned lockdown in the UK?
Thought they were considering more restrictions.
What may cause a lockdown though is the fact omicron is spreading so fast and even if only a small part of the population becomes ill that’s still an awful lot of people.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Don’t come to Holland.
I reckon he was caught unawares and panicked a bit when he was questioned with the words…‘‘Control Experiment’’…he didn’t see that one coming evidently.

Firstly, in my post, directed towards Mr Larf and Mr Snake, I pointed to what Javid was saying, it was in quotes.
I put in 3 ? marks.
Secondly, the message that the non-vaccinated are disproportionately in hospital, seems clear.
Thirdly,

What? UK population 67million. 51million vaccinated (first dose at least). So, 15m not vaccinated?

Approx 20% of the population are under 16yrs old…
Finally, to your query:
I dont follow "teams" regards issues. I don
t automatically say the Gov or any party is always right, or always wrong.
I try to look at different views and decide for myself.
.
What you mean by “Government advisors” re Brexit isnt very clear to me? There were campaigns to Leave or Remain, and both had advisors, and expert commentators, but Gov Advisors? . Without writing a long tract: 88% of Economists were for remain. [theguardian.com/politics/20 ... st-cameron](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/may/28/economists-reject-brexit-boost-cameron) The most quoted Economist for Leave was Prof Patrick Minford, who was for Leave. He also said Leaving would harm UK manufacturing and farming..... The Treasury also says this model will see the sharpest price rises, as new tariffs on goods, including 10 per cent on cars and 36.1 per cent on dairy products, would be imposed." I also looked at other things, but that

No doubt the usual crew on here will have some links in their 'covid portfolio ’
that will dig some dirt on him and instantly write him off as some kind of militant non conformist nut job.
Franglais has turned me into another link searching fanatic in my spare time…, please somebody tell me when I get to the manic stage.ffs
