if someone has twenty cars parked outside their house they prob shouldnt lol.
I havent been vaxxed. But I think its safe to say we should be slowing down the spread as much as is reasonable. We don’t need to slow anything down, it’s all hype. So they say it’s highly contagious but with cold like symptoms for the majority of people. Like a cold then.
Time will tell, maybe you should look at whats happening in SA. Mostly although not big numbers it’s young unvaccinated who are being hospitalised and not with a cold.
the maoster:
The more I think about it Jake, the more I think that there’s another factor at play here, and that factor is human nature!I’ll explain, there are legions of medical professionals of all capacities working tirelessly throughout their whole careers with one goal which is to advance medical science. These professionals are dedicated and ultimately well meaning but the simple truth is that with a few notable exceptions their lifes work goes (sadly) largely unrecognised and largely unrewarded. Along comes a pandemic and suddenly they have a world wide platform and a chance to step into the limelight. That in itself doesn’t present any particular problem per se, the problem comes that in order to preserve to a lesser degree the public acclaim but to a larger degree the now endless funding that is being bestowed upon them they need to be seen to follow the official line (a line they’ve made themselves) because if they go off piste all that suddenly screeches to a halt.
It’s human nature, and I don’t blame them one bit, but I suspect that it’s no longer entirely altruistic reasons that drive them.
I like your line of thought and you may well have a point with scientists etc however I would also say it’s human nature the way some have reacted to the restrictions and other issues concerning this pandemic if you know what I mean.

I will answer your question Rob as you seem to have misunderstood.
If 70% are protected from severe illness and death (and they won’t all be) that leaves 30% of the population who may need hospitalisation.
If you know the population of the UK 30% is an awful lot of people going into hospital at the same time.
The omicron variant is spreading extremely fast and we are all going to catch it.
They are trying to slow the spread down to help hospitals cope.
The politicians are airing on the cautious side and quite rightly so.Ok…The way I read it was the percentages were referring to seriousness of the effects, and that the booster reduced this percentage, if it referred to percentages of population, fair enough…as you have said I misunderstood.
However I still maintain if you have had the jabs and the booster, what is the problem, and if there is a bg problem why tf do you get the jab for in the first place.
I hope you are right with your last sentence and the data from SA shows you should be. Lets keep our fingers crossed and get back to normality.

As I’ve said before on here on these occasions…
As long as I can keep ■■■■■■■ off people like you on here…it makes it all worthwhile.![]()
You caught me at a week moment last night,.wtf was I actually thinking, coming clean on a subject and trying to have a constructive conversation with a [zb] ex copper.

I think you misunderstood… again.
The ‘we’ve all had enough’ referred to your comment about being fed up with the covid circus.
Keep up (you need to come up with something unique to ■■■■ me off. Personally I don’t think you’ve got it in you [emoji6])

Is it any wonder people are starting to feel uneasy about it all. There’s a creeping insidiousness about this that smacks of historical purges, unfortunately we simply aren’t learning from history. The genius part of all this is that in this hi tech world there is no need for jackboots or pick handles; media manipulation is all that’s required.
Hyperbole.

‘‘Misunderstood again’’? Mr Monkeyboy.
You mean like when somebody who confuses the famous composer of the dictionary Samuel Johnson,.with Samuel L Jackson the Hollywod actor?
Yeh, I see what you mean.
Difference being I had no problem admitting it as I ain’t up my own arse enough to have a problem admitting when I’m wrong.

Composer? Compiler would be closer.
He was known for so much more too.
Sorry for the mistake but given your obsession with coppers I think I simply made an assumption (remember the bit about even assumptions being based on some evidence?)
'Course, with your mistake a bigger man would have simply 'fessed up. You may be a big lad but you needed to spend less time filling your face and more building the strength of character of a true gentleman. Try and lose some of your more obvious red buttons. They just beg to be pressed.

Does this sound abusive to you?
My friend’s husband won’t let her visit friends or family.
He’s made her stop all contact with them unless it’s by phone or computer.
He reads and censors her comments on social media.
He makes her feel like she’s going crazy for thinking that he’s controlling her and that she’s being ungrateful, after all he’s only doing this because of how much he cares for her.
He doesn’t want her going to the gym anymore so she doesn’t go.
He doesn’t want her going to work anymore, so she doesn’t go.
He told her, you’ve got to rely on me for income.
He doesn’t let her go out anymore unless it’s for necessities, and when she does he makes sure he has people in place to guilt trip her about it.
By now she is so weary, scared and miserable she will do anything just to have a life and feel less lonely.
He wants her to have a medical procedure done, that she really doesn’t want to have. He says if she does it for him, he’ll let her start going to the movies and for nights out with her friends again.
But even then, he wants her to download something on her phone so that he can trace her movements and keep track of exactly where she is every single day. He says it reassures him and that its for her own good - because only he can keep her safe.
And to top it all off he’s always telling her he’s only doing this because he cares.
Did I say husband?
I meant Government.
Here’s the funny thing in society. We’re outraged if we do this to a spouse, but when the government do it to us, we stand by and allow it to happen.
Funny…seems to be plenty of comments on FB etc about covid.
I think you’ll find FB does the censoring
The other thing that strikes me is that for all the government is supposedly stealing our freedoms, how much more it could actually do - and how temporarily it imposes measures.
Comparisons with ■■■■ Germany seem popular - unless you’ve actually studied the history.

My mate just sent this. Apparently on TV in England a few days ago. Interesting views.
This chap is worth a watch with his knowledge of how the PTB achieve their deceptions via legal-shennanigaries,manipulations of wordcraft and Dog-Latin.There’s a reason ‘ignorance of the law being no exception’ demonstrating how ‘they’ actually they get away with their crimes based on average Joe not posessing law degrees essentially. It’s built on Maritime/Corporate law which controlled by the Vatican (A satanic entity from Babylonia) and views the populace as vessels, ships at sea,birthed-Berthed,hence the certificate of berth into private owner…SHIP.We are common law citizens until they (ptb) moved their DOCKS onto land for trial on land,as arcane and esoteric as it appears, this is how they control it all.

Law rather appeals to me man,it’s a type of sorcery replete with Phoenician etymology and all ties to the Crown/Vatican entities that keep us enslaved on their tax-farms,paying them for our sovereign birthright to exist as freemen of the land.As stark and blatant as that.Sleight of hand manipulation of word craft, based on an adjustment by Ceaser-Justinian.Good reason they dispensed with Latin in 1964 syllabuses.

Priceless.
(But to be fair to you, amusing )
This is Dr Peter McCullough.
He is a Cardiologist, trained in epidemiology. He has 650 publications in the US national library of medicine, the most published of all time in his field.
The president of a major medical society, he testified before the US senate in 2020.
His Wikipedia page labels him a spreader of covid misinformation, and his lectures and interviews have been removed from YouTube.
Here he is talking to Joe Rogan, the man with the biggest podcast on the planet reaching 200 million listeners a month.
