I need to compensate 8 hours 35 minutes this weekend, however I have been told as I have booked off monday as holiday I cannot Count any hours on Monday towards my compensation hence no run in sat ! is this true?

Could the firm be thinking that by having Monday of as holiday would that count as 8 hours for the WTD so therefore not break or rest

That was also my thinking
