no probs mate looks like you been hit with a bad bit of the French like you said you have to go thought the country all the time, there seam to like up setting there neighbours, Spain should do the same see how there like it

trouble is france is a major transit country so we all get affected except the french who are nearly always at home on weekends you see all the big companies yards full by fri lunchtime and thats why so many routiers closing on weekends cos french stay at home at 35 hours a week and the flipflop and socks brigade cook out of the trailer with their lidl supplies 
the only people we could affect would be the portugese and they probably wouldn’t give a dam anyway

There’s your compensation sorted for the previous two reductions then. If you have another reduction next week during your German run that one will be sorted when you go on holiday so it’s all looking good.

absolutely coffeeholic, just that would have liked to have left for germany friday so could tip monday and get back home before sat cos its another bloody bank holiday in spain
As you are going on holiday and all the payback will be clear, you will be starting afresh so a suggestion -

the plan was Rog that because i was home by weds afternoon i wanted to take 45 and leave fri morning then drive sat morning in france then another drive sat afternoon then 24 off sun then monday to my tip tues reload and home by fri but that sun would have to be 45 plus 16 so taken time off at home meaning not arrive at drop until tue afternoon reload weds and not be home until mon afternoon because of yet another saturday ban but i wanted to start driving the car back to the uk on sun. never mind just have to have couple days less with the relatives because the french think saturdays are for car drivers not us second class citizens in big smelly annoying trucks
