Companies robbing drivers!

Just came across this job after searching for isotank trampers. I don’t think this was for tramping but why is it ok for companies to rob drivers. We are after all the people who make these logistics companies there money!!!

They ain’t robbing drivers. Drivers are robbing themselves if they apply ain’t they. Simple

I’ll never understand why some lorry drivers think they deserve to be paid more than teachers or nurses.

What’s the difference between lorry drivers and nurses? Since when was giving a few injections and wiping ■■■ a hard job? We have to put up with high stress isolation and no social life.

We also have the benefit of being able to go out work on shift and lose our licenses and go to prison…

You think a nurse won’t go to prison if they make a mistake that kills someone??

If you find isolation stressful I would suggest your in the wrong job. Personally its the isolation that appeals.

And a nurse could misread an instruction and administer a lethal dose of drugs… and go to prison :unamused:

A base rate of nearly £11 an hour with ADR is not a ■■■■ wage. The days of £1k a week in every third job are long gone my friend. Lorry driving is not hard, and whilst I do believe we should be on more money (for inflation purposes), it’s a case of supply and demand. With most general stuff starting at around £25k, the ADR is your ticket to these better paid jobs. Might only be a couple of grand a year, but it’s dangerous goods, not a dangerous job
